Pre-Workout Meal
Ground Chicken Breast Meal
This is an example of my pre-workout meal (meal you eat before you work out). I'll eat it about .5 to 1 hours prior to working out. I'm not really worried about my sodium intake for now so I can add anything that DOES NOT contain calories (ie. mustard, shoyu, salt, splenda, etc). It's very important prior to strenuous exercise (especially with heavy weights) to eat carbs with my pre-workout meal. This here is Ground Chicken Breast... Pretty gross raw but doesn't taste half bad. 99% lean meat and quite a bit of protein per ounce. I also put in the Kimchee Base because I used it in cooking the Ground Chicken Breast... This shit is AWESOME. I only put in 1 TBSP of this stuff and it PACKS A PUNCH! Even better there's only 1g of sugar for an entire 2 lbs of ground chicken!
More importantly there's vegetables! I eat a good amount of veges with every solid meal like this. Here's a great article about fat loss and vegetables. Take a read if you're interested!

So dieting as you know can be one of the most challenging things people go through... If you ever watch "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" you see that most people fail to diet because they're so used to eating their "comfort" foods. Dieting is purely a LIFE STYLE change. Trust me guys, it would be a lot harder for me to continue dieting if I went out every weekend to clubs and dinners!
If you have any questions feel free to ask away!

wow you're allowed to eat white rice? didn't know that was weight loss approved food.
ReplyDeleteLots of speculation out there but here's my reasoning:
ReplyDeleteSome nutrition myths, advocated by food extremists and popular in bodybuilding circles, unfairly demonize white rice, implying that it should be avoided at all costs, the most extreme versions equating eating a bowl of white rice to eating a bowl of sugar.
White rice does lack some of the nutritional attributes of brown rice, but it is still a worthwhile source of complex carbohydrates which tastes better in many dishes.
Finally, brown rice really does make me feel bloated. Bloating is a terrible thing when cutting down =)
